Marketing Friendship on Friendship Day

I spent the morning of 'Friendship Day' marketing friendship to friends. Actually, it was a trip to the beach that I was trying to sell.

The 'value' being marketed here was friendship and fun.

Segmentation: My class needed to be segmented into groups based on their interest and inclination to go on a beach trip.
Targeting: Those who had shown an interest to go on trips earlier, as well those who informed me explicitly through direct communication.
Positioning: A rare chance to have an enjoyable trip to the beach, bond with friends, and blow off some steam after the strenuous exam schedule.

Product: A beach trip
Place: Kappad beach
Price: Around Rs 50/- per head
Promotion: Mails, messages and phone calls.
